Carol, I can see the progression of your style evolving into something so beautiful. Like the blossoming of a flower, when its in the bud stage we really can't see it's true color, but as it opens up what a marvelous display of color, light and glory. You truly are a gift of God's handiwork. Keep up the painting. It all looks great. Kindest regards, Barbara Collins† www.madreminutes.blogspot.com
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas...attended the University of Texas at Austin, and currently live in Kerrville, Texas, where we have been since 1998 . I paint with acrylics and pastels, and I watercolor an annual 5x7 calendar featuring a different theme each year. Art, gardening, family and friends are my life...I am inspired by God's creations, whether it be animals, plants, insects, sunsets...He is truly THE Master Artist. My works are personal as I put a small part of myself in each painting. It is very gratifying to me to finish a painting and to have captured the essence of what inspired me. I prefer to paint to music, at night, when things are quiet and still. I try to always have something to work on. Would love your comments or critiques...check back often as I am constantly adding new pieces. Commissions are always welcome.
